Wrong again. You know nothing about my family. As I know nothing about yours. Despite your ridiculous story about a semi, I have never mentioned your family. Please do not to mention mine again. They are irrelevant to this thread.

I did not mislead my Mother. She knew my beliefs and shrugged her shoulders, knowing that everyone does their own thing. I expect she was pleased that having made up my mind I stuck to my opinions.

Many people follow the religion and denomination of their parents. They do it because it's what you do. They go to the same church, get married, have children, who then go to teh same church.

At least I gave the matter some serious thought and made up my mind. I did not become 'my own man' when my Mother died. I did so about the age of 20. My Mother died about 40 years after that, so please get your facts right and when you don't know them, stop guessing.

Seems that is what you are doing in thie thread, spouting nonsense without even knowing your facts. Time for me to laugh at you! rofl rofl rofl

thank you

but you have mentioned how your mother saw God in her flowers. if she was a "nutter" as you like to point out to me and other believers, your mother died thinking if you believed you would be with her, but if you did not, that was the very last time she would ever see you!!

I have never said that all believers are nutters. Many Christians I know are, as I have said (please read what I wrote!) 'normal' people who quietly go to church on Sundays, do the kneeling, standing and sitting down thing.

They listen to some words and sing a few hymns. Then after coffee they go home and forget about it till next Sunday. These are normal Christians.

The nutters are those like you who spend vast amounts of energy quoting things written in books by men as if it were some sort of 'proof' that there is a god.

These angry writings, sometimes shouting in capitals, not to mention bold text and italics are all nothing. They are just things that people wrote about a long time ago.

No doubt some of them actually believed their stories to be true, others were most likely just repeating what was written by someone else.

Instead of accepting as 'mere coincidence' the unusual things that happen in life (which is all they are) you immediately state that they are 'proof' of your beliefs.

You have no idea how stupid you look claiming that it 'must be god' for everything that has ever happened which doesn't have an explanation that is easy for a qualified engineer to understand.

Very lazy thinking to give up and say, "Oh well, that must be god".

To see the difference, take a look at earlier posts. The 'normal' Christians are those who just answer the original question with a short statements like, "Yes there is a god". They do not see the need to 'prove' anything!

if we were communicating face to face in person, rather via the internet off a website, my answers would be short and direct.

this is a place however, where you can relay things that have taken place to be judged by all for them to make their own conclusions.

obviously, MK, in a person to person face to face situation, i would have answered you quite differently!!
