Topic: about filling out the profile?

Hey people in here :) I have a question for you :) What is so scary about filling out even the basics in the profile and doing it honestly? I have stumbled upon several, if not most of profiles in here that i've seen that has nearly nothing in them, not even a short selfexplanatory text about ythemselves. Is really "hi" meaning everything or what? Those few who really have something in their profiles such as the answers to the basics and a short text can be counted on one hand and one in particular that caught my eye hasn't even been on here for over a month according to the profile itself. so, is it so bad to write something about yourself or is the "hi" a shortcut because it's obviously difficult to write something that might catch someones interest? Sometimes it just be like that

you folks act like real person are filling out the profiles. if a real man or woman were doing it, they would do their best to describe their selves, as to present them selves in the best light. fakes have no interest in dressing up the profile, get it in quickly and see what you can catch.

I dont care if the person lives 10 minutes from me...if she is too lazy to complete a profile and post a pic - she's not worth my time

Those who do not complete their profiles are not seriously looking or just here to troll. so don't sweat it, ignore them and move on. please leave your SSN and your DNA next time you fill a profile

a blank profile is a red flag to me. with technology, people have become more open, whether they like it or not. if a hacker wanted to know about you, he or she could find out pretty quickly. the filters here do not work, so it's up to the person to make your own decision. a real profile will give you the information to make a connection with the person. if you reach out to me, make it a point to read my profile, let's start from there.

I fill out my profile and post real photos. I also state my honest intentions for being on the site. I am who I am, If it attracts someone's attention, great. If it doesn't, great too... It's a dating site. I'm not desperate to meet anyone. It would be nice to interact with others, but if not, I'm still going to live another day. It seems like profiles don't get read anyhow by most of the people on here, so it really doesn't matter. What it does do for me is helps me decide which people I choose to interact with much easier. If I start messaging with someone and they start asking me about the same information that I have already posted, I know I'm wasting my time and effort even conversing with them. If there isn't even enough interest to take the time to look at a profile, I'm not going to waste my time either. Just pass on and save both of us the time and effort.
