My non support of Trump is really not about communism or the fear of its potential here. its not going to happen, just more fear tactics as far as Im concerned.

but an interesting question was posed about undermining, so I looked for the definition.

undermine:erode the base or foundation of (a rock formation).

I would say when a PRESIDENT pushes for the investigation and claims corruption of an opponent due to an investigation by our intelligence agencies, but THEN claims any investigation into him or his allies is a witch hunt,,, that MIGHT BE UNDERMINING the trustworthiness of our intelligence in general.

I would say when a PRESIDENT makes the statement that only 'some' mexicans are 'decent' and that generally they are instead rapists and murderers ... that MIGHT BE UNDERMINING the ethics of Mexicans in general.

I would say when a PRESIDENT makes a statement of a female opponents looks or alludes to females having periods ... THAT MIGHT BE UNDERMINING the merit of females on their jobs.

I would say when a PRESIDENT puts press in cages and encourages crowds to boo them and makes statements about them being an 'enemy' and being 'fake', that MIGHT BE UNDERMINING the merit of free press or the veracity and use of free press for the public.

but those are just my interpretations of undermining groups of people.

Putin appears to be targeting U.S. officials who worked on Russia sanctions

"Almost from the day he arrived in Moscow as the U.S. ambassador in 2012, Michael McFaul and his family were subjected to a campaign of surveillance and harassment.

According to McFaul’s book “From Cold War to Hot Peace,” Russian authorities followed him to his son’s soccer game and on outings to McDonald’s. They trailed his children’s bus to school and sat behind the family at church. They slashed the tires of an embassy staffer’s car and broke into the homes of other employees".

Cutting Through The 'Fake News:' Proof That Russia Is Hacking Everyone

"Recently, the world watched as Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin met in Helsinki, Finland. The long-term results of this historic summit have yet to be realized, and many have speculated one way or the other on its outcome. What we do know from this meeting, thus far, is that nothing has changed in terms of Russia’s goals of influencing elections through state-sponsored hacking and destabilizing competing NATO governments for political and financial advantage. Further, many Americans tend to have a myopic view of geopolitics and events like cybersecurity within our borders".

its interesting really, this thought about borders when it comes to the physical and the cyber. On the one hand, people are so up in arms about who can get in because of weak physical borders, but every day I see the damage being done by who gets in past the lack of CYBER borders that allows such propoganda and brainwashing to occur remotely and anonymously...

What goes on at our "dirt" borders, is nothing compared to what goes on the internet. Millions of dollars are lost every year. But that's not all.

The Cyber Terror Bogeyman

"We have let our fears obscure how terrorists really use the Internet.

About 31,300. That is roughly the number of magazine and journal articles written so far that discuss the phenomenon of cyber terrorism.

Zero. That is the number of people that who been hurt or killed by cyber terrorism at the time this went to press".

The people ranting about Trump simply do NOT understand what Socialism is. If I want to live in a Communist Country, I will fall in love with Vladimir Putin and live in Russia.

Lets help people 'understand' communism:

a system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single -- often authoritarian -- party holds power; state controls are imposed with the elimination of private ownership of property or capital while claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people (i.e., a classless society).

First point: the STATE plans, the economy, is not very likely, as we are grounded in classism that allows one group to look down on another group, socioeconomic based 'merit' of people and the value of their life is the American way, not likely to go anywhere. And is able to be improved without control being ceded away from the wealthy who currently hold most the power to the state. The point is not to trade dictatorships when it is to maintain just and sustainable way of life.

Second point: elimination of private ownership where all goods are shared equally is also not likely to happen. The idea of the American dream would be destroyed if there was no hope of 'attaining' one's own (own home, own income, own car ... et cetera). I dont hear too many people advocating for this in any way shape or form.
