I’m looking for some male company; friends to begin with, to attend Christmas parties and enjoy life with in general and then possibly a long-term relationship. Are there any sporty 45+ men out there who are looking to take a possible relationship slowly ?

I was, of course, (!) referring to something my Father said when as a teenager I was dumped by a girlfriend. He said, "There's plenty more fish in the sea than any that ever came out".

Plenty of fish in the sea just need a better, bigger net to find them; hook and line doesn't seem to get many nibbles!
