I guess EMPIRE must be losing money or advertisers or something. Smollet thought he could make more money or get a bigger part with this hoax. Instead he lost his job. OH NO, Now we have another man out of a job. In my opinion, none of the motives make sense. Like I said, I dont know what precedent there is to indicate being a victim of a crime causes one's employer to give you a raise. And when someone gets paid tens of thousands per workday, I dont so much see their being out a job as impactful, its not like they live check to check as the majority of Americans do. |

Empire suppositly cut Smollett out of the last 3 Episodes of the show.
