You don't go from journalism to a job in the new administration if you are known for your hard-hitting pieces against that party or for being even-handed. You get that job because your prior work has proven that you're a loyal member of that party.

George W. Bush's former comms director is chief political correspondent for ABC News. Oh wait, I'm sorry that would be Bill Clinton's. Bill Clinton's former comms director is chief political correspondent at ABC News.

I still can't believe that John Bolton's brother was president of CBS News. So sorry. That's Ben Rhodes' (Obama's National Security advisor) brother who was president of CBS News.

But what about when a former TIME bureau chief became a mouthpiece for Bush? Probably showed some strong bias, huh? Ahhh I did it again. That was Jay Carney, Obama's second press secretary.

CNN giving a morning show to someone who worked in the Bush administration still gets me, though. I mean, come on now. Excuse me again, that's Jim Sciutto, who worked in the Obama administration.

The killer for me is the fact that Mike Pence's own brother gets his own primetime show on CNN. And it's all about how they "get after it." Oh my goodness gracious, my foot is in my mouth. That's Chris Cuomo I'm thinking of, brother of Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

And then there's that Bush donor who co-anchors the CBS morning show. She's best friends with the Bushes, even VACATIONS with them. Incredible. Oh no oh no, that's Gayle King, an Obama donor who's vacationed with them and is openly friendly with Democrats. I'm so silly.

My favorite was the time that a right wing political hack who was working at Fox sent debate questions to the Trump campaign. Then when it came out and she was fired, the RNC hired her. Oh wait that was Donna Brazile, Hillary, and CNN

George Stephanopolous: Former White House adviser to ex-president Bill Clinton, went on from his administration position to become an ABC News anchor. He has no journalistic qualifications. Stephanopolous's wife said they would move to Australia if Trump won. There’s still hope that they mean if he wins again.

NBC News hired Chelsea in November 2011 to serve as a special correspondent. Her annual salary was $600,000. Chelsea Clinton is highly educated but has zero journalistic experience or qualifications.

Christiane Amanpour: Chief international correspondent for CNN married to James Rubin since 1998.Rubin served as the Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs in the Clinton White House. Also a senior policy adviser to then-Sen Joe Biden and Hilary Clinton campaign staffer.

Moderator of NBC's meet the press is married to longtime democratic party operative Kristian Denny Todd. Mrs Todd founded (and still works for) an organisation called "Maverick Mail & Strategies" that donated $1.99 million to “Bernie 2016".

Laura Jarrett, daughter of Obama family friend + confidante,Valerie Jarrett
(she even moved into the Obama family home in Washington) was hired by CNN to cover the Justice Department. Laura has no journalistic experience or qualifications, the Obamas even attended her wedding.

Claire Shipman: Contributor on “Good Morning America” and Senior Correspondent for ABC News is married to Jay Carney, former press secretary to Barack Obama.

Ben Sherwood: President of the Disney-ABC Television Group (the biggest television company in the world) is the brother of Elizabeth Sherwood who served at a very high level (in various roles) in both the Obama and Clinton administration.

Donna Brazile: Former Democratic National Committee chair and high profile CNN commentator. Wikileaks exposed her leaking questions to Hilary Clinton's 2016 campaign manager John Podesta. To its credit, CNN severed ties with Ms. Brazile over the scandal.

Matthew Jaffe: Senior Correspondent for ABC and Univision (covering politics exclusively) is married to Katie Hogan who served as Obama's deputy press secretary.

Ian Cameron: Executive producer at ABC News is married to Susan Rice, former national security adviser and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Obama.

Virginia Moseley: Senior Vice President of news gathering is married to Tom Nides who served as Hilary Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State.

I believe, due to extremism, media bias is real.

I believe that media of all mediums is taking a 'better of two evils' approach to delivering news.

That is to say, on the EXTREMIST of the left side, are people pushing against any type of distinctions in individuals, abandonment of ideals about marriage and sex and right or wrong, and freedom to speak opinions without social mob mentality impacting their livelihoods and lives in return.

But, on the EXTREMIST of the right side, people are pushing for nearly inhumane and cold policies to completely disregard the value of a human life by any measure except financial status, or perceived financial cost to others.

So, the culture of media seems to be leaning more towards the side of a utopic non realistic 'everyone is the same' basis than towards the inhumane 'you are only worth as much as you financially acquire or help me acquire' basis.

It shouldnt be an either/or. Both should seem like EXTREMES. and I would rather a push for a BALANCE that falls in the middle of those two.

but the good news is, whatever the BIAS is, education is the key. Because with education, people SHOULD be able to discern FACT from propoganda, and OPINION from FACT, and read the truth included in any media source, regardless of the spin they put on it with their personal opinions and interpretations of what the facts mean.

Education should be able to identify the truth but it does not. A large percentage of the electorate cannot identify the truth from the propaganda and opinions that bias the news. I believe social media and cable news sources are the primary cause of that. We do not have large disclaimers on social media and cable news stating these are the opinions of the provider and do not reflect the actual news! Now if it was violence or porn, the regulators would be having a fit and fining or shutting down the source. The biased news that now pervades our society is much worse and more dangerous than all the violence or porn that could be displayed.
