"Realization"

I hear voices all about
but all of them, i fear
wich one to listen to
i cannot quite hear
"go to her" one says
while another shouts "flee"
wich one is right
wich one is me
i'm lost in the noise
and can't find my way out
i cover my hands to my ears
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" i shout
my eyes start to water
uncontrolably i cry
these voices in my head
i ask myself, "why?"
i pray for a way out
i dont know what to do
so i pray and pray,
and then, i see you.


This is an poem i wrote, about 5 years ago. I used to share them with people all the time, but i havent written any in some time now. be gentle lol.

I think that it's an inner torment all of us go through at some point in time... though it sounds very dramatic and almost schizophrenic. I like it.
