You might start with English. German is not that easy to learn. As I said, Borussia Dortmund, born and bred Dortmund supporter. But I also like Liverpool and my local Irish team Shelbourne :

when i was little, i was liking the style of British teams. they usually played from the air. Also, i like the style of the Barcelona and Real Madrid.

I don't say a thing for Borussia Dortmund. But, The German national team, which played 90 minutes in world cup games without losing the discipline of the game, received continuous support from us. So our hearts were with him. Did you know this?
