I was watching on tv today. I was mostly interested in Neil Young and John Mellencamp. I like Neil but didn't like his band much. Waited for him to kick it up, and then he brought out "Old Black" (that is his old electric guitar he's had for many years). He played "Throw Your Hatred Down" and "Rocking in the Free World". That was great.

Farm Aid has been going on for decades. It was started by Willie Nelsen, Neil Young and John Mellencamp. There are a lot of singers and bands that are there.

I didn't realize it was getting televised. :disappointed_relieved:
I had considered going. Alpine Valley is a nice setting. (Weather permitting - turns into a giant mudslide if it rains).
I reconsidered when I remembered the hours it took getting out of the parking lot after a concert.
