Is it every socially acceptable to go out to a bar or lounge alone??? Don't be shy leave your opinion...every one counts!

It definitely is.. It's more how comfortable you are with it... I personally cannot do it but I have friends that will go out to eat alone, pubs, movies, etc. and I admire them for that..

i have no problem going to bar or pub alone- its pretty fun- i meet alot of different people. i think its a blast!!

tons of people go out alone, a lot of my friends do it.personally i get really bored really fast if i don;t have somebody i know to talk to every so often, even if i am hitting on girls.

I try not to...but every once in a while I will go to the local bar just to play pool..if anyone else is there playing..If not I lose

OH! Ok so I get it. So if you personally feel alone then going out alone is going to make you feel sad. If you like being alone and are confortable by yourself then you will enjoy going out alone. Right???

I went to a concert alone in october cuz my friend screwed me over. No shame in going places alone.

I don't mind going places alone, often I end up seeing someone there I know anyway, one of the dangers of living in a small town!

Yeah I don't want to go out "hunting" but I do want to go out to meet people. Don't get me wrong if there is a woman out there that is open to me then that is a bonus..but I just don't want to look...ummmhh whats the word...pathetic???
