What is your opinion on dating someone younger?

AGE IS PRETTY UNIMPORTANT TO ME, i AM MORE CONCERNED WITH PERSONALITY, MATURITY AND ATTITUDE. I HAVE DATED SOME IN THEIR 40'S THAT WERE NO WHERE NEAR AS MATURE AS SOME IN THEIR 20'S

Well, you are a kid yourself...bigsmile
I was together with my ex for 15 years, and shes 8 years younger. If your personalities mesh it shouldn't matter. Now that I'm single again, I find most women interested in me are 43 and older...and that won't bother me either!happy

It depends on how much younger.

My last realationship was with a girl 16 years younger than me.

Needless to say it didnt work out.

I was married to a woman 10 years my junior for 9 years...it would have lasted forever too, if she hadnt been a cheater.

Now I'm stickin with my age group, Ive learned my lesson.

I don't see a problem with age differences...as long as they are both adults. Personally, I believe that age is a frame of mind; I've met some 30 somes that act like they're "over the hill" and then some 50 somes that live life to the fullest!
No accounting for age! You know that ole saying..." you're only as old as you feel..." still goes.

I'd date someone younger.. I just dislike when girls who are like 1/2 years older say you're too young that just urks me.

LOL..age NOT a problem???

OK, that means no one would say chit if I (just turned 42) was dating a 20 year old??? BULLSH*T!!!! I'd be called everything from "craddle robber" to many more things...and most of the guys would just think "that LUCKY SOB!!" LOL

I just say this because MANY do have issue with it, but most have thier particular "definition" for it.

Age DOES play a factor in most situations over LONG TERM.

So whatever YOU and your partner are comfrtable with is FINE. To hell with what anyone else thinks, because its none of thier business anyway.

So live life..be HAPPY! bigsmile

Hey synfullygood, I'm with you on this one. Both my husbands were older than me (7-11yr) but now that I am out there again, I find that a lot of younger guys want to date older women because we know what we want and we don't play head games. I would never marry someone younger than my kids but that still gives me a 20yr span. Some younger guys are very responsible and mature, so I say ,go for it! If you click, give it a try!

yep yep.....and 30 year old women who act like they are ready to give up the ghost. My mama always says "the older the grape the sweeter the wine" and I am getting sweeter all the time

LOL, see I LOVE the honesty in these last couple of posts from the women!

They can admit, yeh go for the younger bucks! They don;t even need things like Viagra! laugh

It just shows we ALL want DIFFERENT things in our lives...and guess what.. IT'S ALL OK!!!!!

Its just part of being HUMAN! bigsmile

laugh laugh Ya, just got a call from a friend yesterday about a man she's been dating for 3 months;she's 54 and he's 30...( younger than her son). He likes seeing "older" women and she thinks he's a hoot!! They don't seem to have an age problem!
My last serious relationship was 12 yrs younger than me but thought "old" and didn't enjoy life...grumble
The one before that was 2yrs. older than me and was a "young" thinking and active man!
So definitely is no accounting for age!!!laugh laugh
