you have to go to start, then control panel and then go to add / remove programs. Search for Photo shop and click on that program and then click remove.

That's if you want to remove the program.

Hope that helps.

To Turn off Norton you have to open up the program I think if I remember right and shut it off that way, or you might be able to turn it off by the time clock in the bottom right hand corer of your pc screen across from the start bottom. You might have an thing like this < to view what else is there, then find Norton I belive you left click on your mouse and then go into it's list and see where you can find to where you can turn it off and for how long you want it off. Then when you turn it back on you have to reboot your pc.

You could find out how to turn off Norton from there website.

To get the half installed program's hooks out of the system do a restore. You'll find the instructions for this about halfway through this page. http://www.justsayhi.com/topic/show/58735

Then read this Adobe troubleshooting help sheet (Paying close attention to the system requirements), do what fits your situation and try the install again.

A reboot fixes most issues!

For the record, if you press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [ESC] then find the installation process in the list or processes (often called InstallShield.exe) and end the process, then start the installation again it normally works.

Always try to reboot first! <- They should make that a sticky.

For the record, Macs aren't that expensive.

Ta,
