ok guys i'm 36 weeks and having good enough contractions to get things started.... i'm 75% effaced so they took me off the anticontraction meds.... that didnt work anyways.... but now i get to sit back and feel the pain..... so pretty much i'm not going to make it to the 17 of jan...

my one question is to the "MOTHERS OUT THERE" about how long does it take after being 75% effaced at only 36 weeks tell lets just say... um shes on her way out?

Believe me that might be what she is..my middle son was an extreme slow learner. he was in the hospital for several weeks learning how to do alot...we had to teach him how to drink out of a bottle and to breathe. He didn't start crawling until a year and a half.

Pressure, it's mostly about the pressure. The baby is putting pressure on your female stuff, and it will hurt. The baby is also putting pressure on your bladder, just hope that your wetting problems stop after she is born. I think it will though, you are still young and have not had that many kids, or twins. My bladder fell, but I have had double the kids you have almost had, and the fact that I am heavy does not help it any.
And as I said every pregnancy is different.

both pregnancies with my children were totally different. In my experience I would say you have about a week.

i went almost four weeks at 75% effaced, as well as being dilated to four centimeters.

every pregnancy is different...but in my personal experience, braxton hicks contractions are worse with each consecutive pregnancy, as the muscles and ligaments are a bit more stretched with each, as well...

i would hope to keep that baby cooking for a few more weeks.

Both of my sons were born at 37 weeks. My OB doctor had told me that the lungs and organs are completely developed at this time. Actually, I'm glad I had my second one 3 weeks early. Babies gain a 1/2 pound per week at this point and he was 8.5 pounds when born, so he would have been 10 pounds had I carried him full term.

Good luck though!

and wow 8 and a half lbs baby is big to start with.,, my son was only 6 lbs 6 oz and thats what shes ganna be.. i had to have her mesured to make sure shes not to big for my short frame.

Ouch! Lulu, poor you!

Got to agree, let the baby cook as long as she wants to. Nature is an amazing thing. Does anyone know of a baby that came on it's due date not by scheduled c-section? She will know when it is right for her to get here.

I feel for you LittlePreggers, my son was 'in position' forever. So much so poor guy had a fierce cone head for the first month of his life.

Hang in there...best as you can. Hugs, M
