There cannot be prophecy of any kind that's greater than the prophecies of Christ. The pestilence in the Bible is what God calls the world's attention to right now that all these things must come to pass.

*And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.*
*Matthew 24:6‭-‬8 KJV*

Amén!!!

Yes, I turn my fear to faith. John 16:33, John 14:1-3.
We all gonna leave this world. We don't know when we'll leave. Perhaps many strong believers were taken through disease and some were tortured and they died in pain yet they never lose their faith. I am not afraid of the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasts at noonday. For God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
All I need is to keep self examination till I finish strong.

Why Toks, do you believe Psalm 91 protects you? Did not the saints recite this amongst the black plague too? It is dangerous to you and to anyone you have contact with to presume you are protected.
And my thoughts of what God is thinking right now is He is not celebrating the death and grief that is happening. Sure pandemics shall come, sure He will watch what happens on earth. Does this make our God smug and happy with the vengeance of death? If you think this, you do not know God. He grieves, he is with the broken hearted. He wants better.
He is a God of love.
He is grieving with us, for us and is that one prayer away for help.

Ezekiel 33:11
As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die? NLT.

MY BELOVED, GOD does not want sinners death. In Psalms 7: 11 it says: "God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day."
Yet He doesn't want them dead but to acknowledge their evil ways and turn from them and seek Him in humility.

The topic I posted is about the "pestilence" mentioned in the book of Matthew chapter 24 as one of the sign of the church's last days. It's obvious the LORD mentioned it in verse number 7, an incident that will take place to call our attention to the end of the church age and we are seeing them all these days.

Perhaps it is the wickedness of man that led to the death of many these days as the Word of God also mentioned in verse 12 ''Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,''

All these was revealed to Daniel but he didn't understand till he went to God in prayers and God enlightened him.
Christ spoke about it in Matthew chapter 24.

YES! I believe am protected by God. I dwell in His secret place by His grace. I am not claiming righteous than others. I rely on His mercy and I am not afraid. Mt.10:28. I fear God.

Sorry, just catching on to how this works. We can pray for both protection and healing but it is a false belief that it is wrong to do this in the context of God's will. He is God, we are not. We rely on His Wisdom, which we cannot fatham. Nor is it just to assume that if we do not get the results we expect that it is because of our lack of faith or that there is sin in our life. Psalm 91 is, within it's context, not a blanket automatic exemption from sickness. Especially if we court it.

I think your spiritual gift is taking Bible verses out of context and slaughtering their intended meaning. Matthew 24 has nothing to do with what is currently going on in this world.

There are things I don't engage in. Controversy is one of them. It's obvious you can't see Matthew 24 clearly in all that's going on in the world at the moment.

God allowed these events to call people's attention to the end of church age as written in the scriptures.
There were a lot signs of disaster in 2019.
The highest wildfire in Australia was in 2019.
In March 2019 was a typhoon in India that killed a lot of people.
In June 2019, heat wave in India killed a lot of people.
In October 2019, typhoon hit a lot of Japanese.
Typhoon lekima killed a lot of people in the Eastern part of China in August 2019.
The wild wind in Greece, earthquake in North Korea.
From June to September 2019, India received the highest amount of monsoonal rain in the past 25 years.

Afghanistan has been in war since 2001. Same as Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan. The mosque built situated in the city of Medina at the region of Saudi Arabia.
Few months ago was a rumour of war between America and Iran before the pestilence (corona virus) the world is undergoing this 2020 emanated from China and now a colossal crushing the world's economy. OMG! (someone needs to understand the times we are in tears ).

Still in Matthew 24:15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:). KJV.

It's very important we keep all the hygienes proper. I'm trying. We can't be more hygienic than health care professionals who among them tested positive to coronavirus even in overall protective gears. Apart from the face mask, hand sanitizers and hand gloves. Do you have the protective overall that covers the whole body? Even if you have them all. Remember!

*Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for He grants sleep to those He loves.*

In humility and a broken heart unto the Lord, pray thus;
*FATHER LORD I believe in You, and except You protect me, I protect myself in vain. I do not know what coronavirus is. The microscopic bacterias and viruses that's in the air can enter my body through my unprotected eyes though I wear face mask, though I often wash my hands, though I keep the hygienes but LORD, Unless You watches over me and my loved ones, we watch in vain. LORD, I have obeyed the instructions. Please, with Your mercy, be my guard and protect me and my loved ones in Jesus' Name.*:bow_tone3::heart:

God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. So let's leave everything to him alone. He will always see us through.
The Lord is good all the time, his love endures forever.
