I met a guy in the car park of a coffee shop. We chatted whilst heading into the coffee shop and all was going well until I set foot on the marble effect floor and promptly slipped and was sent flying into a table for two. The place was full too as it was lunchtime. Not a great start for a first date nor was it a good look......me lying flat on my back on the floor with legs akimbo. Hopefully all you hurt was your pride. And if that's the case then I have this to say: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAH....snort...deep breath..crying...HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAH...oh, my sides hurt.

Why thank you Mike for your sympathy. I did hurt myself but didn’t want my date to know so I said I was fine and tried not to limp my way out after lunch. And yes, my pride took a big dent

Well, I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt. Silver lining - it makes for an excellent story. Btw, falling down is a specialty of mine, especially if a lot of people are watching. So I do empathize. Still funny though.

I can laugh about it now but boy was I embarrassed. All the waitresses came rushing over to make sure I was alright when all I wanted was to crawl out the door and not draw attention to myself

The husband thing. Sitting in her front room the morning after and see the patrol car pull up. I tell her the police are outside, she says it's OK its just my husband. Divorce wasn't final yet. Turned out cool , he was an old car guy also, even went fishing a time or two.

What’s the worst thing that your date do on first night Wasted my time. He knew he was not what I was looking for, but didn't tell me until more than halfway through the date. That's unforgivable.

I drove to Charleston, South Carolina. A tire blew and shredded on the highway. Darn thing pulled down the wheel well and things went south after that. He was not understanding. I canceled the date, extended my stay and had an awesome time by myself. Good for you! Sounds like he was a piece of crap not worth your time or attention.
