There was a stone circle area, at Glastonbury, when I was there last year. I remember that area, as all the hippies and stoners, were up there. There's a few sites up the North of Scotland and The Orkneys too, that have standing stones also. My favourite place though is the Isle of Skye, as it's just a magical place Crystal. I could defo see you not wanting to leave there, as it's just something about Skye, that makes you not want to leave. If I could move my business up there without affecting anything I would.

Hippies and stoners... see, that's why I feel it's a shame. Drugheads and boozers at one of the most spiritual power places in the world! It's ridiculous.

I'd love to go to Skye, and from there to the Isle of Staffa to see Fingal's Cave! So yet another boat trip, and there's nothing else there, so it'd be for that cave only, haha.
I'd also want to see the old mansion that they use in "Outlander" to represent Lallybroch. It's so rotten you're not even allowed to go inside, no windows, part of the roof missing, hahaha. They gotta do quite some work on it for the shots. But I'd like to see it!
There's a Dutch tour operator who also does magickal tours to Scotland and their trip takes you to a great many power places. I'd LOVE to do that, but it's costly and I believe it's a week only, meaning you're going to be shattered when you get home, lol. And I want to see Culloden. That's a must.

You'd be better flying to either Glasgow, or Edinburgh Airports and arranging your own holiday in advance Crystal. At least you speak good English, which won't help you much, as you'll find it hard to understand us! I'm lucky to stay in a beautiful Country and Scotland, never stops surprising me. You always seem to find somewhere, or someplace, more special than the one before when you start exploring here. I tend to stay off the more well known touristy areas in Scotland now and look for the hidden gems, as they're still out there waiting to be found!

But tell me one thing that interests me... Michael McIntyre has this sketch on using the Scottish pound in London and the English making a big hairy deal out of that.
Then there always being a Scot shouting "Excuse me mate, that's legal tender!"
Is that true? Are the English difficult about accepting your legal tender?

I wouldn't mind. I also managed in Marrakech where hardly anyone spoke English and my French is like the dodo: it went extinct, hahaha.
And I survived a holiday in Leeds area, which was also difficult if ppl spoke their own lingo. I was exposed to that as I stayed with a mate near Leeds and all his mates turned up for a BBQ to meet me, lol. I often had to turn to Nyge, my friend, to help me out, hihi.

To sit here, Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye.... sigh!! So peaceful and lovely!
Could be that I'm going to paint this one day. When I feel like sodding around with painting underwater stones, which isn't easy.




And I want to go to Culloden and likely sit there too, depending on how I'd feel. Even looking at it now I want to cry. There's something about it that very strongly draws me to it, has done for years. I think maybe I lost someone there during the battle. Either that or it is just the atrocity of what happened there, the pain. But I think it's the first.
Best to first go here and then go some place nice like the Fairy Pools, hihi.

The visitor centre at Culloden is very good. It’s very informative and Culloden touches you spiritually.

First time I hear from someone who's actually been there!
I think it will touch me too. And somehow I'd want to go there by myself, even if I was on holiday in Scotland with a partner. It's something I've got to do for me.

I don't think I'd heard of the massacre there before. Wouldn't surprise me that people see ghosts in such places.

If you wanna have a good chance of seeing ghosts, go to the Edinburgh Niddrie St Vaults Crystal. Spookiest place I've ever been, including Prague! If you go to Glencoe, I'd stay in Oban, as my base, rather than Fort William. Fort William is a shithole to be honest, but Oban is nice though and has a class wee restaurant, right next to the train station also!

Ah, Mary King’s Close. Fascinating place but I didn’t see any ghosts when I visited

I think I once came across a documentary on that, by some ghost hunter who wanted to try and record things there.
But I'm not interested in seeing or feeling stuff like that. Been there done that, lived in a few houses with entities, one seriously bad.
I'm interested in places of Light :) Culloden is different but that's for other reasons. Kind of like unfinished business one way or another.
A pagan temple would be interesting!

And apart from that, I appreciate beautiful landscapes, but also culture. Being somewhere and seeing, feeling, hearing how people live and what they're like.

The Pagan Temple, is in the Vaults Crystal and it's still in use to this day. The rest of the place is as creepy a place as you can imagine! It takes a lot to phase me, but that place is unreal!

Hahaha, I think I'd find me another Pagan temple, lol.
Oh well... saving money. I will get to Scotland at some point!
