Hi KitKat flowerforyou

No worries, taking it easy now. But that video call with my pyschologist was a wee bit early oops

One of my doctor's did a video chat with me also.

Hope all's well with you flowerforyou

OT... I'm feeling, thinking or planning(doing) .... depending what thread I'm inlaugh ... on checking out doctors in my arealaugh I went to one of those walk in clinics 7 years ago, haven't needed one sincedrinker

Wow, that's great!
I have a GP. I hardly ever have to go either, but I like having my own GP so I know who I have to deal with in case of.
I know the assistants well too, having been in the practice for 17 yrs. Very handy to get something done laugh

Which reminds me I have to phone them to get me a referral for an ENT. Need to get my ears cleaned. Something I keep putting off... I hate oiling my ears, hihi.

I don't do well with pills(man made cures), so I've researched, remembered grandma old ways, and found more natural ways to help my body heal.
Nope I'm not recommending anyone else go this route, nor am I putting down modern medicine.
Just saying, this is what works best for me and I will go to a doctor if home remedies and just taking care of myself don't work.... but sometimes a simple diet change helps.

laugh anywayofftopic commend everyone for taking care of their health:heart:

I know what you mean crystal, I know/ knew my parents doctors, nurses, pharmacists, office help very well and I've counted on them often because they knew us:heart:

A good choice!
I combine both. Oftentimes Western medicine cannot even help you other than for instance giving painkillers or tranquilizers. Or they just don't know or it's not true/possible.
Then I go to an alternative therapist :)
My GP that retired 2 yrs ago wasn't into alternative. I didn't bother arguing with him. Some people you cannot change, hihi. He wasn't all that old but clearly to stuck in western medicine.
Best GP in that sense that I ever had was and a GP and a classic homeopath. But I think those are rare.

Like the cloud has finally lifted. What every energy has been ailing me for the last few days seems to be clearing up. I feel much better today and no one came close to getting choked, lol. Opening up to my boss about stuff that's been bugging me helped some, he was surprisingly receptive and empathetic. I've been really missing my old boss, we connected really well and with her being a woman, we understood each others moods and could relate as women. For the last month it's been a 19 year old guy running the store, so I've been bottling my emotions up.

Anywho, I feel good and no longer feel like jumping ship. least not yet. And my boss telling me to quit trying to handle everything, to take it easy, really helped.

Communication is everything!
Good you talked about it. flowerforyou
And good you're not going to leave in a hurry. When I read you saying that somewhere I didn't get a good feeling about it. Doesn't mean you have to stay there of course, but maybe it was what was behind it that didn't feel good and was what I picked up on.
Anywho, glad you feel better and relieved!

OT - Better than this afternoon when I felt a bit dozy / drowsy. Now my head is much clearer again :)

I'd been thinking of watching comet Neowise tonight but it looks like it'll remain cloudy. Dang!

Oh, I keep forgetting about the comet. Though it's been cloudy every night, so chances are I wouldn't see it either, haha.

Ego was getting in the way. It took some serious digging to get to what was really bothering me. Extreme nitpicking is always a sign that there's something I'm not looking at or refusing to see. And boy oh boy have I been a major nitpicker the last few days, haha.

I said something to a customer yesterday about my patience wearing thin. He said hang in there, more chances than not I would end up dealing with the same issues at the next job. He's right! After doing a bit more soul searching, I realized the issue lies more inside myself than outside. So I'll hang in there a while longer and focus on me rather than silly things like running out of creamer at the store, hahaha.

Thanks, and I'm glad you're feeling better as well. flowerforyou

Glad you had that insight and took the time to do the work!!
I too go up and down quite a bit of late, finding it quite difficult to keep a good vibration going.
Anywho, really glad you sorted it out and if a 19 yr old gave you that advice he does have a good head on his shoulders, hihi. You indeed take whatever issues you have with you, but usually that's not what a 19 yr old 'snotface' understands, haha.

Hahaha, snotface 19 year old, haha. I believe that was part of the problem. I'm 58 years old and have a 19 year old boss. Although that was my own doing, I said no when they offered me the management position. I didn't want the headache. Now if I can just remember that and leave the headache stuff to the 19 year old snotface, all will be well, lol. He's actually not a bad kid, just lacks experience.

Hihi. I can imagine that can be tough. On the other hand side, you may be able to guide him a bit? Kind of like the wise woman behind the young snotface? Grin.
If you have someone older, set in their ways, it could be more difficult than with someone who's still learning and more "mouldable".
And indeed you don't have to deal with the headache stuff!

I've already tried to glide him... not a chance, lol. He's stubborn and wants to figure things out himself. Perhaps I need to work on guiding in a more subtle though, that might work! laugh bigsmile

Bummer, but maybe with a little time when he learns that you're not trying to take over his job. Maybe he's got a similar thing, not wanting a more established and/or in his young eyes older lady ending up telling him what to do? (I mean, even a 28 yr old would be considered old by a 19 yr kid).
When he's done p*$$ing his territory, lol, he might ease up maybe?

I think seeing Neowise is not for tonight :( I do not see these clouds lift.
I believe it was visible last night but I forgot :/
In 2 minds where to look. One said NNW, someone else, however, said NE.
I'll check on my SkyView app where it is so at least I'd be looking in the right direction.
I do hope to catch it before it's gone!

I imagine so. He's young and this is his first experience being in charge. That's kind of tough for anyone... to step in and become the new manager. I haven't exactly been easy to work with as far as that goes. The first two weeks I let him know how "Lynn" did things, haha. He's trying to establish his autonomy and be the authority figure to a few of us that are old enough to be his parent and are in the habit of doing things Lynn's way. Not an easy task, but overall, he's handling that part of it quite well. He's not acting like a snotty nosed punk, so I can at least give him a little more credit and lighten up on the poor fellow, haha.

I thought it was the SW, opposite of the sunrise. I'll check again too. Hopefully we can both see it before it's too late.

I looked it up again, and it said in northern direction. So I guess both who said NNW and NE were right as the earth and the comet move.
But that's for my location, lord knows it's different where you are. I don't really understand that stuff hihi. I'd say it'd be the same as we both are on northern hemisphere and higher up north, but I don't think it's that simple.

We should both get a chance to see it before it's gone I think. I also read it'll be closest to Earth on July 22nd. So we have another week!!

Yes, I just looked it up again too. They said towards the Northwest, to the right of the sunset. It's supposed to be visible predawn, about an hour or so before sunrise, and also an hour or so after sunset. It's clear right now, hopefully it will be later as well.

Yes, the same info I found!
And you lucky girl! It said it is visible to the nekkid eye but faintly. I had not expected that but I'll get my dad's binocular's out which are pretty good. On a clear night. Hope you get lucky!!
