I miss my salt lamp being on. The lightbulb in it died and I ain't got new ones that small. I guess I will go out real soon to get another, and a spare, cos I really miss the warm light! I must admit I had not expected that.

It is weird to not have that warm light, isn't it? I think I will to the shops this afternoon and hope they got these small bulbs.

Thinking I don’t give a damn that my dad hates the dry cleaners.

Thinking how cool it was that I found cauliflower pasta at the store. I was wondering earlier today if there was such a thing and if so I'd use that for my spaghetti tonight. Should be interesting. They even had cauliflower bread sticks, but I figure if I'm being good by not eating regular pasta I can indulge a little with regular garlic bread.

I was okay with not getting postage back, just the crystal, even though he gave me the choice.
But it feels much better now, so I'm content with it.

Thinking... I still have to go for my walk. I usually do that earlier in the afternoon but now I went away and only just got home...
Hmff... Oh well, it is what it is.

I am feeling like Damn! My sister's hip surgery is cancelled for about 10 days cause her labs show she has a staph infection. I made plans to take time off from work to go care for her, this had been going on for 3 months first she had to cancel cause she burned her house down lol ( really, grease fire) now this. I can't wait to visit her and my other sister ( they live in Mendocino county different towns) but just want to get this over with

Oh gosh, sounds like she's going through a lot of difficult things! I hope she's rid of the staph infection real fast! And yeah, important with a hip surgery...

Yeah I've had both mine replaced lol (really) hip dysplasia is a genetic disease that runs in our family. ( Lol I know dogs get it to) But I run, lift weights , sometimes on my feet for 12 hours ,ok ok I'm tooting my own horn , I could go on but I don't want to write a book here. So thanks a plus is I'll get to visit with my sisters as they live in California and I Oregon.

My ex had one replaced due to an accident when he was around 34... He slipped over ice, fell awkwardly and crushed his hip.
It'd been there for some 20-24 yrs and did cause him trouble and discomfort, and limitations. No more mountain climbing and mountain biking cos you cannot make that angle anymore with a replacement hip.
My ex husband really needs 2 replacements but then he cannot do his work anymore as he won't be able to make that angle, which is needed for his job. He's only 58 and then he'd be bleeped financially.
So it's good the technology is there, but it comes with limitations (for some).

That my friend thinks it is safe to travel to New York City now and spend the day there??!!!
