Do you believe that certain people can fit into "leagues"?

He or she is "out of my league"?

You know, I don't think so. I think it's more about whether or not two people will get along. Unfortunately so many people judge others purely by looks that it creates a sort of barrier that prevents some people from even trying to talk to others (thus the idea that someone is unapproachable and 'out of a person's league).

My opinion...there are different roads we all take, motivated by morals, self goals, and influences.

So some may be grouped by class whether we can help it or not, region, career paths, goals, religion, and to some physical attributes.

I do not hold my opinion based upon physical features. I do believe, in a sense, that love is blind. However some may indentify more closely with someone with simular life patterns, such as hygiene, fitness level, etc. Also that someone with similuar education, work ethics, and family values are likely to be attracted to someone on the same lifestyle.

I do not think one person's life decisions make themselves better than another. But rather these "leagues" are established by common ground. As they say, "birds of a feather flock together."

'Leagues' are created by individuals. Someone is only out of your league if they believe themselves to be. Example: Paris Hilton. There is NOTHING about her that is attractive (except for her trashiness but that's a different topic) yet since she was born into privilege she is out of just about everyone's league. The same goes for the rest of us 'real' folks as well. Some people just naturally try to place themselves above everyone else, usually due to superficial reasons such as money, self image, and social status. Also, religion as you stated in your previous response. I do agree with your 'birds of a feather' theory because most people are comfortable around 'their own kind' if that makes sense. This is an interesting topic.

Who said you're unattractive? Let me talk to him/her so I can bring said person down to a level they belong on. Funk dat. And yeah, the more attractive people get more attention but that's just how it is. Let em have it.

YES!

Because of how some of US view OUR SELVES, low self esteen, and being put down all of ones life or low income growing up.

Then people who dress in expensive clothes and HAVE money,
are sometimes viewed as out of my league.

But WHAT YOU are saying fits well.
People will seek to hang or be-friend other's that THEY feel our LIKE them in SOME areas anyway..

HOW YA BEEN TWINS??
And MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! flowerforyou drinker

helllll no the concept of "leagues" is just a result of an unenlightened and immature mindset

someone once said "love knows no boundaries" or some other cheesy sh!t like that, but it's true.

ive been involved with girls from many different "cliques" or whatever you wanna call em, ranging from different personalities, body types, habits, hobbies, races, heritages, economic status, etc. a diverse experience is necessary to live life to the fullest. wtf is this "league" bullsh!t?

but hey if there were leagues, judging from that guitar you are definitely in mine haha

I'm going to be brutally honest...

Sometimes I feel like a lot of guys are "out of my league" sheerly from the fact that they portray themselves to be out of my league. If they treat me like some kind of goddess dictator by saying desperate-sounding compliments and similar statements, I end up percieving them as ... well, I don't mean to sound like a b**** ... worthless.

If any guy showed a at least a little bit of respect for himself and was just "chill" around me, the illusion of "leagues" dissapates away.
