When I'd finished my first book I had it published by a publisher.
I had decided that before I'd even finished the story. No way did I want to self-publish. I've seen too many people do that -esp this day and age- and get nowhere. Or you have to invest and for instance buy 1000 books yourself. Sod that. I know someone who had her entire hallway and living room filled up with oracle card decks.
Then you got to see and flog them... Advertise... etc etc.
And I wanted my dream come true: have it published AND have it on Amazon and B&N and the biggest Dutch site.
My publisher did that without me asking. They take care of everything.

Nevertheless, I do wish you good luck and happy sales! It is possible. You have to be lucky, but that goes for when you have a publisher too.

in the book, i as someone else win a lottery and buy a large sailboat and with a fox i met online we take sailing classes in miami. one day strolling around town we spy a charity boxing tournament put on by 4 models who are raising money to fight cancer.
long story short we like the matches and invite them to sail with us and travel the world doing what becomes known as "show boxing".
like mud wrestling only not as bad. we sail down to rio and box there and then fly to paris and then to london and then all over and we accidentally end the world wide lockdown and promote physical fitness...in the beginning there is a fair amount of sex on a ship with myself and 5 stunning models...
it's actually was fun to write and hopefully would be fun to read for thick skinned people with a sense of humor. i poke fun at trump and a myriad of celebrities in the book.
