I'm trying this online dating thing i dont know how it works im tired of dealing with all the bull at bars and clubs i just want to find someone i can hang out with and who isn;t afraid to do things themselves but like to be pampered i'm still a romantic at heart

Well, first you post your profile. Most definitely put up a picture. I for one like to see who I am talking to. Next go through the matches that they send you. If someone interests you then drop them a line. If you are added to someone's friends list at least say hello how are you from time to time. then go into the Community side of things and start looking at the different forums find one or several that interests you. Post comments in the forums people like support or ideas no matter what they are. You meet people that way on here. Good Luck!

Friends yes you will make some ! But the best place to get a date is still the clubs and bars.

the problem here is everybody has very high standards, too many people window shop failing to make any attempt at contact. mise well be the bar actually, at least there you got beer and music.

well.. just be you and if you think someone sounds interesting or you think they are cute dont be afraid to tell them... being foreword is key.

yeah for sure definitely don't be afraid to contact people -- most people are so nice, open, etc esp. cause there's this understanding that we're all here for the same thing! (lol)

MY standards arent too high..if anything they are way low..lol. You should see some of the people I've dated and heard some of the things things they believed in.

I've always been here ONLY for relationships..but I'm not sure that the guys that DO contact me even read my profile because their first question is always sexual..lol

I only got into this internet stuff because I can't go out and meet guys..and I have several friends that had relationships and even married people that they found online..I was hoping it would work something like that for me too..but apparently not.

well I have figured it out. Most people online are married, have some and are just looking for something on the side. As some one said "Those are not real people they are imaginary people" I am really starting to believe it.

I chatted with man friday night and set up a meeting thing told me to call him. Ha Ha joke on me not even the right phone number and did not show up for coffee either how is that for meeting some one for a so call date. What a fool am I.

most people on here are not married looking to cheat. more generalizations. 90% if not more are honest people, granted there are a few bad apples here and there but it is bar far not "most" people.
