Quran says; Musa (Moses) came to Qarun (Korah), Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and Haman, with clear (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, and they called (Moses): "A sorcerer, a liar!".
Korah was Moses’ cousin. He was Minister of Hebrews Affairs to Pharaoh. He was one of the richest men on children of Israel. He had so many wealth that the boxes of the wealth were so heavy that a group of strong men needed to carry them.
Korah went forth before his people in his pomp. Those who were desirous of the life of the world, said: "Ah, would that we had the like of what (Korah) has been given? Verily! He is the owner of a great fortune."
Wise people said to Korah: "Do not be glad (with ungratefulness to God's Favors). Verily! God likes not those who are with ungratefulness to God's Favors.

Then God buried Korah and his wealth and treasures into the earth and he had none of his group to help him against God nor could he save himself.
Those who had wished themselves to be alike (Korah) said, “It is only God Who expands provision on His creatures as He likes and contracts on whom He chooses. Had not God obliged us (by keeping our provisions contacted) we would have been likewise buried.
Bible indicates that Korah rebelled against Moses along with 249 co-conspirators and were punished for their rebellion when God sent fire from heaven to consume all 250 of them.
The Bible says: Moses said to Korah, “You and all your followers are to appear before the LORD tomorrow—you and they and Aaron. Each man is to take his censer and put incense in it—250 censers in all—and present it before the LORD. You and Aaron are to present your censers also.” So each of them took his censer, put burning coals and incense in it, and stood with Moses and Aaron at the entrance to the tent of meeting. When Korah had gathered all his followers in opposition to them at the entrance to the tent of meeting, the glory of the LORD appeared to the entire assembly. The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Separate yourselves from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once.”
