I can’t wait to see this , been waiting .
I didn’t realise at first it was going to be 4 hours long , but being able to watch it at home will make it more comfortable through the long viewing time , rather than the uncomfortable cinema .
Now I just gotta finds way to watch it

Yesterday I watched Man of Steel, Batman VS Superman, Justice League and Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is hands down THE BEST superhero movie I have ever seen! I collect superhero movies.
The 4 hr 2 minute play time is broken up by parts. At each part, I paused it and did what I needed to do, giving me time to absorb what I saw.

The file size was pretty big. Most of the movies I have are 5-800 MB. This file is 2.2 GB. Worth it all. The streaming source I used to capture the video was agonizingly slow and took all day. Had I streamed it, it would have been buffering, a lot. The film was meant to be 4:3 screen ratio. Its not meant to be seen in wide screen.

After seeing this film it makes me wonder how much better many big budget movies could have been. The theatrical version is an example of how studios and some producers create a work which is designed to appeal to the widest possible audience in an effort to appeal to basic societal expectation. Focusing more on the marketing pay-off than telling an engaging story.

This film was a creation of art and mood. Geared more towards a select few. Its not a film which tries to make you feel good and more about the view and mood of the essence of the ideas being presented. Its very effective at its job of suspending disbelief.

The redesigned look and feel is amazing with its attention to detail. Important details absent in the original release in 2017. Snyder's vision shows us a good movie can be made when the studios actually allow the art to override the money potential.

Granted, much of the effects were CGI but the CGI was well done and added to the quality of the film.
I read there were still parts of Zack Snyder's cut which did not make the screen. I also read there is a black & white version which shows a different ending and lil segments left out of this version. I'd love to see that too.

Last night, after it finished, I decided to make this version a permanent film in my DC Justice League Universe collection. It blows away Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

Will Zack Snyder make Justice League 2? Will he remake Man of Steel or Dawn of Justice? Will he make The Flash?
I feel like I've been cheated by all the previous superhero films. It exemplifies the feeling of "Here is what is possible and 'this' is what 'we decided' to give you".

Zack Snyder RAISED the bar. Not an inch, a mile! GOOD JOB!

In order to keep full creative control and ensure that the fans receive the most benefit from the Snyder cut, Zack Snyder refused to be paid for finishing his Justice League.

According to Zack Snyder, this film contains no shot filmed by Joss Whedon.

Confirmed in an interview by Deborah and Zack Snyder. The Snyder Cut only has about five minutes total of new shot added scenes with actors but there are over 2,000 new visual effects shots in the four-hour film.

At DC Fandome 2020 it was confirmed that The Snyder Cut will be a four part miniseries. But in January 2021, WarnerMedia confirmed in a press release that it would be released as a feature-length film, not a miniseries.

#ReleaseTheSnyderCut was the most tweeted hashtag for an unreleased movie.

According to Zack Snyder, another black-and-white version of the film is on the way, containing an alternate ending.

The first modern superhero film to be released in 1.33:1 (4:3) "TV" ratio, close to the 1.37:1 "Academy" aspect ratio format used up until the 1960s.

The second R-rated film of the DCEU (not counting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) - The Ultimate Edition, as it was released on Blu-Ray only).

The longest superhero film released in the 2020s. Also, this film surpassed Avengers: Endgame (2019) to be the longest running superhero film ever made. Endgame ran for around 181 minutes (3 hours and 1 minute).

The cast features 6 Oscar winners (Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Russell Crowe, Jared Leto, and Kevin Costner), and 4 Oscar nominees (Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, and Diane Lane).

The theatrical Justice League (2017) was shortest film of the DCEU (120 minutes - 2 hours), until it was surpassed by Birds of Prey (2020), which ran for 1 hour and 48 minutes. The director's cut of Justice League is the biggest film of the DCEU, with a runtime of 242 minutes (4 hours). Also, this will be Zack Snyder's biggest film. His previous biggest film was Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut (2009), which ran for 215 minutes (3 hours and 35 minutes).

Both Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon, who oversaw the 2017 theatrical release as writer and director of re-shot material, attended college with Michael Bay. Whedon attended Wesleyan University the same time as Bay had, and Snyder attended the Art Center School of Design in California at the same time as Bay.

There is a dedication in the closing credits to Zack Snyder's daughter Autumn Snyder.
