So painful if the person you love doesn't believe in you..
If you are in this position. What ?do you feel and what will you do.

well when i was younger, i would beat myself up wondering why.

with the wisdom of experience and age, now i don't invest feeling unless it is returned.

shrug, move on. i refuse to beat myself up anymore.

I'd asked myself... "Do you really want to spend the rest of your life trying to convince this person that you love him?"

My answer would be.. NO! It's not much different than living with someone you love who doesn't love you back.

Yes, it's painful... but to stay in that kind of relationship is even more painful. It's a slow torture and an endless quest for something that may never happen. A healthy relationship is built on trust and a mutual connection. If he's not trusting my love and devotion, then there really isn't trust, or a mutual connection.

Depends.
Depends on what they're not believing me, or in me, about, and why.

Is it based on their insecurity, their personality, their experience?
Or my attitude/behavior?
Is it based on their understanding of who I am? Or who they want me to be?

Is it even about "believing" or is it about signs of support?

Context is important.
That will tell you how I would feel and what I would do.
