I've always wanted to write, even before I could actually write and had to dictate to my mum, hihi.
It did get published in the regional newspaper nonetheless on Wednesday's kiddies pages.

Now I'm an author of romance novels. BDSM romance to be specific.
I had to think of a pseudonym, and I chose Dani Rose. I liked the feel of that :)

My first book "Free Me, Master!" got published in 2017.
I was so happy! Seeing my book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc. etc. Exactly what I'd always dreamt of!
And holding my own book in my hands, having a copy of it in my bookcase, wow!

In 2019 my 2nd book "Boundless Hope" followed. I'd wanted the title "Flogging Love Me!" but my publisher didn't like that. I still feel it would've been much better but alas.

In the meantime I was working on the 3rd & 4th but then writer's block hit me and nothing much happened.

In retrospect it was menopause that caused the block. Menopause does wreak havoc on deeper feelings like passion and with that it doesn't help creativity.
I could paint without a problem, but having to write steaming hot sex scenes with a right amount of BDSM didn't work anymore.

Bet now that I'm bouncing back, due to hormone replacement therapy, I'm on a roll again!!
I'm working like an idiot on my 3rd book and making real good progress!

I'd already written most of the material but it needed a spanner in the work of the budding love story, and where I couldn't think of one before, now I could.

Currently the book's 138 A4's so as a book it'd be double that, so 276.
And I'm not done yet.

Me is happy! I AM going to finish this book!
Finally.
And send it to my publisher.

Then I plan to finish the 4th right away as well :)
