I don't know about conspiracy, but the out-going Clinton administration possessed information that had the FBI CIA and IMMIGRATION been working together might have put together something concrete that would have forced the in-coming Bush administration to take some action.

All this is public knowledge.

Instead they got files of information that was simply ignored. I do believe that 911 was the best thing that could have happened to Bush, up until then he was nothing more than an embarrassment to the concervatives that put him in office. Its a disgrace that so many innocent lives were lost.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that if the truth ever does come out, most of the people involved are long-dead and beyond human justice. I can not conceive of Americans killing Americans, but Timothy McVeigh did it, soooo anything is possible.

Well the way he was heading it seemed he would have been concentrating on weeding his ranch, hunting with his dog and just hanging out with his friends. He did take more vacation time than any other president.

Actually that article states that they were false statements which is different than a lie. The president does not go out and get this information for himself. There are people in the government that do it for him. Who really knows where this came from? If someone else told the president this then he would have been acting on false information and not telling lies. You would then not be able to impeach him. Either way, unless you had documented proof that could be verified that he in fact knew at the time it was a lie beyond a reasonable doubt he wouldnt be convicted.

Yes, there is a lot of he said she said going on in that article. Its called hearsay. There are conflicting intelligence groups and information from other sources that may not be reliable. I still think its lacking the burden of proof that would be required for trial. That site also seems that all its articles are aimed at attacking the government. Seems like news with an agenda to me. The media has a biased opinion on everything. Like most companies in this country they are out to make money. They are gonna print the stories that sell and put only the facts in them that will show the story they way they want it to be shown.
