 Funny, we all claim to love free speech, until someone uses it in protest. Just another example of right wing hypocrisy. The conservative "free speech for all, as long as they agree with us" attitude. Our founding fathers would applaud his protesting. The voice of dissent is the most important part of a free society. I doubt very much that our founding fathers would applaude what he suggested. His freedom of speech is not the issue in this post. His audacity to be an icon in the eyes of American people in spite of his verbalisms. Those same "daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers" horse-dancing around with him. Forgiveness is one thing, but idolizing him is over the top. When did they forgive him, before or after his apology? Most are not aware of his former declarations, I'm sure. maybe when he agreed to participate in a FUNDRAISER for american kids,,,,,,, there is more to any person than one sentence from their mouth or one moment from their life,,,, some things are understandable ANGER AND HATRED At a time when neighbors and families and common communities are being destroyed are a couple of those things the time has passed, those events have passed, its not so controversial or hard to believe those feelings have passed as well,,, |

Nope. I was pointing out what I saw as an inaccuracy which doesn't lend well to a reporter's credibility but Peccy has set me straight on it. I worked on aircraft for four years in the Navy and four in the Air Force but I must admit that I haven't kept up with it since I got out in 86. I guess the the lesson here should be "don't judge a book by it's cover. Take yourself as an example. Someone new to Mingle 2 would probably notice that the vast majority of your posts appear to have a racist or bigoted bent but if they only got to know you a little more they would possibly realize that you are neither a racist nor a bigot.... I guess.

Remember the Gunfight at the OK Corral? Five people were killed in that event, that was the total number of people killed in Tombstone that year. More guns make us safer, not less safe. A money pit. A ruse. A lie? How much of the money that is collected for Medicare and Medicaid ends up in the general fund rather than what it should be used for? The government is a spreading cancer. A wildfire sucking money from our pockets and wasting it. I am purposely over simplifying this by simply saying that we need to reduce the size of government, get a hold on spending, and get them out of our lives as much as possible. We have become a nanny state and it is pitiful.

Chances are good that you 401k or other retirement fund has invested your money in them and you would like to see a return on that investment.The insurance company has to pull the money to pay claims from somewhere. That will be premiums being jacked across the board so the average Joe citizen can't afford the premium anymore. You say your employer should pick up the tab? Sure. They will have to pull that money from somewhere as well. How about the government picking it up? Uh, that would be all of us and we call that socialized medicine. Hmmmmm. Back to the drawing board. socialized? What do you think Medicare and Medicaid are?  |

Most gay guys act like the rest of us. I don't agree with their sexual choice due to my personal beliefs but I would stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone who is willing to protect our freedoms, and that includes the freedom to live your life in the way that you are happiest. Gay or straight. Guys, when you shower at the gym are you afraid that someone will look at your pecker? Then stop looking at theirs while trying to see how you measure up.
