We lavish one another
exposing who we are
And when the sun bids all farewell
there twinkles one lone star
Feelings felt are sometimes strained
our hearts can become cold
The words alone their passions play
are swords from days of old
But when the night bids all farewell
and all is gone it seems
There twinkles yet a falling star
blinking out her beams
The passion surges through the air
then reaches to the soul
Where once maintained a blazing fire
and ember begins to glow
That tiny star he calls his love
begins again to shine
And then through tears he calls to her
and says
"Forever Mine"
