Still don't believe that separation of Church and State is in the best interest of everyone's civil liberties? Read what Mike Huckabee recently said on the campaign trail:

"I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God, and that's what we need to do is to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards." -- Mike Huckabee

If one researches with whom Huckabee often breaks bread, one sees that many of his closest pals are Christian Reconstructionists. Though too politically savvy to openly espouse these views within range of the public's memory, he did write this in the 1997 book "Character Is the Issue: How People With Integrity Can Revolutionize America":

"When two irreconcilable views emerge, one is going to dominate. Ours will either be a worldview with humans at the center or with God at the center ... The winning worldview will dominate public policy, the laws we make, and every other detail of our existence."

Somehow, I don't think this is what the Founding Fathers had in mind. Even though they didn't specifically include the phrase 'Separation of Church and State' directly in the Constitution.
