ARG!!!!! Took me 1.5 hours to get across town. Normally a half hour drive. What is with omahan's? They have to relearn how to drive every time it snows! There were a few slightly slippery spots, but it really wasn't all that bad. What a waste of most my afternoon.

Try calif. I work 1.3 miles and it takes me 25 minutes to drive to work?

Anways, you should come to Salem around tourist season. I SWEAR you sit in the same spot for 15 minutes, move a foot and sit for 15 minutes more. And that's about a mile from tourist ground... |

I know I was on black ice and ended up going down a 35 ft. cliff so don't blame people for being careful. be glad they are not driving like mad and ending up hitting you. |

Around here, if ANYTHING comes out of the sky -- rain, snow, sunlight, birds -- people act completely baffled and will sit in their cars and refuse to move.
And when the light turns green? Forget it. You're lucky if they even wake up before it turns red again. |

True, but people who are overcautious can also cause as many problems as people who aren't careful enough. |
