I wish I could tell you something you don't already know, but I had the exact same experience with the locals. And I'm 5'10" and about 200, so I don't think it's a height/weight thing, either!

But once I started posting here, and got myself known, I started getting tons of e-mail from really nice people who are all 897,000 miles away. Never anything from the locals though.

HAHAHA..... The height is awesome! I date a guy that is 6'7"... Totally turns me on... And I am just under 5 ft... I love walking into places with him. People look at him and then you can see their eyes look wayyyy down at me... and then they poke each other and point at us... LOL...
