My friend told me that we all are getting a $600 tax refund much like they did a few years ago, and if you have kids you get $1200.
Is there any truth to this or was he just making fun of my ignorance to the news? |

no we are getting a rebate. It may not be that exact amount. some of it is going to be based on how much you made and how much you paid in taxes. They say they could be mailed as early as may

True, but it wont be for a while, the IRS is still trying to get tax stuff out of the way, middle of the year is what they're projecting... And thats only if you're filing taxes, if not it's something like $300 per person...

Actually I think you will get 900.00 if you have kids and 1200.00 if you are married and both work!!!!

yes 600.for single 1200 for a family plus 300. per child, but, alas folks all this is jus talk right now, its all stop in the Senate, they want to add something to it, for Senior Citizens who are just living on Soc. Sec. I am like the rest of u, id sure like the extra money, but its jus a waiting game now.
