You may be right on that fact..we may never know...but everyone who is mad that our troops are over there..and keep saying that Bush is wrong for sending them and that he is wrong for maing them go.....The men and women that are there...are there because THEY SIGNED UP FOR THE JOB...NO ONE MADE THEM DO IT!...No one forced anyone to go into the army...people did it because they care..they want to make a difference..and to me..they are heros who can never get enough praise for what they do everyday to make our land so great!

You are right in they signed up for the job, but that doesnt mean that they are over there for the right reasons. i honestly don't know why we are still over there.

we went into iraq looking for weapons of mass distruction, found we were wrong, but we are still there... why?!? I really don't know.

(those are lecture questions, lol, they are honest i dont know questions.)

While I am not American and thus cannot vote in this election, I am following it with interest because it does affect the world. ------ But then again, I don't see much difference between either party though that's just my opinion.

The differences between Democrats and Republicans, on the whole as two "seperate" parties, are very minimal. Due to the nature of the American people, the most successful parties always fall closer to the center, between "right" and "left" wing. Both the Democratic and Republican parties straddle the line. For quite a long time, it's been essentially two parties that are almost the same running this country.

The real difference between the parties comes into play when they put forward a candidate that can think for himself...and even then, they need the backing of their parties, or they lose a lot of political power...this kind of keeps a "leash" on them, so they serve the desires of their party.

Anyway, your remark is right on the spot.

And as a side note...I think Obama would be an excellent president, although it's hard to say until someone is put into that position.

I agree with you...trying....My view is...i would rather have out troops OVER THERE....protecting us..then having this war on our soil. They brought the war to us...so we took it back to them...

Unbelievable that a good deal of the population still thinks that Saddaam Hussein was responsible for 9/11. Bin Laden is probably in the Afghan-Pakistan border area, yet we do not go after him. We've lost thousands of lives and spent billions of dollars invading and occupying Iraq(and still no exit strategy), who had nothing to do wih 9/11 and did not threaten us.

Go figure.

Oh and I'll be voting Democrat whoever the nominee is. A Democrat will eventually end Bush's boondoggle in Iraq. Hopefully, soonner rater than later.
