That bible thumpers cant handle the fact that SOME people have read the bible, followed the path, and done the whole christian thing, and STILL find that a differnt path is right for them?

I am being told by a thumper that i'm a satan worshipper, simply because i wont admit the bible is the Greatest book ever.

Yes, religion is your own belief, it is not up to others to tell you what you can and cannot do for worship. Follow what your belief tells you is right.

Yeh, I know what you mean, but you can;t blame those people much of the time, because it is what they are "taught".

I found out the Bible refers to people as "sheep" in most respects. And now I know why. But why put the sheep down? I think "cows" are better to use. At least sheep have some sense, like to run if there is danger. A cow will just sit and stare are chew on whatever its eating. That's what I have found that most people do...so lets say "cows" and not belittle sheep down to the human level.

As far as what "we" as humans know..its basically nothing. "Religion" is man's way of trying to fit "God" in a "box". If you understand that, I applaud you, you are one of few that have a "thinking" brain.

Can not listen to others rants....We all have our own choices. However, name calling is so childish, and for you to describe all Christians as Bible thumpers, makes you as bad.

Don't sweat it. The Bible is a fictional literary piece anyway so who cares? People that buy into it are clearly not very logical independent thinkers. Why would you even care what someone who believed in imaginary beings thinks?

Religion in it self doesn't hold any key. It's up to you to find your own happiness. Religion only brings groups of people together so they can pump each other up to make themselves feel better and it always seems like someone is trying to be nice about it.

If socializing with people that share the same "belief" is what brings you happiness, then so be it. I personally believe fully in the practice of Buddhism.

Love everything and everyone for what and who they are, and realize that desire is your biggest down fall.

Hey! I have never "thumped" a Bible in my life. I'm more of a "idiot" thumper..have thumped many "idiots" in my time. However, it was thier choice. So would I be considered an "idiot thumper by request only" type person?

Just look at the person who is saying these things. Imagine if you can, for just a moment, that you are their creator.

I think just plain "idiot thumper" works. Are people who have trouble spelling considered idiots? I've never seen someone truly thump either a bible or an idiot but the euphemism works. Keep on thumping.

I assume it is a rhetorical question as there are obviously MANY other religions besides Christianity and Satanism.
