Can't find a city called Manitoba. When I search for it on google maps
it comes up Winnipeg. Manitoba is a huge state. Are you in Winnipeg like
the map suggests or somewhere farther up in the great expanse? If you
are in Winnipeg you could come straight south about 1400 miles for some
southern hospitality here in Houston. Unfortunately the high here is
only about 70. Thank heavens it is going back up to a more normal range
of something in the 80s by Wednesday. We had the unpardonably miserable
experience of having two rainy with temperatures around 48 to 50
degrees.

Note: I didn't read this whole thread, mainly the beginning and a few
words of French. My business partners are speaking French here all day.
Some day I'll have to move to Canada for total immersion in the language
because clearly this is not enough for me to absorb any of it.

I always smile when people from other countries think that all the
provinces of Canada are bilingual. How many times did I hear, "That's
neat! You get out of the province of Quebec and you can speak your own
language (mine is French) anywhere you go within Canada". haha So cute.
