Just moved to Va not long ago. I like it so far. Fairfax is beautiful! Lots of nice houses.

Fairfax is way too crowded and has too much traffic. I guess it's alright, though.

My sister lives in Fairfax--pretty but the traffic is bad. Hope you all remained safe in the mist of tornadoes. Weird for Virginia.

Wow..I lve about 10 min. from the one at the shopping mall, and less than an hour from the one in suffolk..my brother and his wife live there..thank God they are ok..alot of devestation..they said actually it was 6 tornadoes that touched down in Va... I drive a school bus, and after letting off our big kids they radioed all the drivers and had us go to our elementary schools and made us go inside with the children..didnt know what was going on at first..we had to stay there for about 90 min. until it was safe to leave with the children.. we were lucky though..just alot of rain and wind.. Alot of people were hurt, but thank God no deaths..It's a miracle..

Hi Suz..yes I live about 10 min. south of Southpark Mall..go there all the time..that is right in the same area that got hit...Do you live near there?

Well cool...Colonial Heights used to be a sleepy little town till that mall was built..now its grown up so much, and things sure have changed.. Have a great day all!!!

SuzinVA what part of Detroit I grew up on the West side but moved out to Utica when I was 8 or so I guess. Most of my family lived on the East side, 6 Mile and Gratiot area.

i lived in detroit mostly the 7 mile and van dyke area had a house by city airport for 11 years then lived in wyandotte and warre
