Women should be eye candy. If they dont take care enough to take care of thierselves, then why would i be interested in them? That having been said, I have met exceptions to this self imposed rule. (its more of a guideline than a rule)

its not very important, but mild attraction at least is necessary so that your able to maintain eye contact and look at her. the really important part of the attraction is whats on the inside.

Are you kidding? Looks are manadatory criteria for everyone that looks decent. I for one can't imagine being with someone that I don't find physically attractive - those are the people that stay "friends" if they're good people. I think for men it's a deep-rooted performance thing - kinda hard to "spread the seed" if you can't enjoy what you're looking at...

I'm kind of kidding here - but looks are important for a evolutionary reason. It holds true within all species. Natural instincts tell us that attractive people are more likely to be the inherent survivors...stronger, faster, more graceful...

Advancement of species is ingrained in us and looks are what we use as a #1 criteria men and women use for selecting a mate...not to say that each person has the same criteria for "attraction" - so don't get me completely wrong here...

Fortunately we live in a changing society where people like Bill Gates are the dominant males...the species will adapt and things will change.

Of course they do.. A good looking guy is far more likely to get women than an ugly one.. I think the main differance is that men are more likely to fall for a woman based mainly on appearance, where women need more of a personality connection...

Okay this is not a slam..just an observation I notice that most of the men have agreed to some point that looks are important to both men and woman. I also noticed that the guys on the far right do not have pics up...was wondering why was that if looks are important ?
