To the best of my present knowledge 82nd & 101st still play out some war
games.But this is superb practice for the real thing.It's all good
because win or lose,they have respect for each other.We all all the same
side anyhow,and with the same purpose in mind.Acheive Victory!Amen.And

Did the military change so much that the competition between branches
and Units does not exist anymore?

P.S. The 3rd Infantry Division is the finest mechanized Unit in the
World!!!!!

1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, aka the Warriors, plays the
"OPFOR," or Opposing Force, to the training units at each rotation at
the Joint Multinational Readiness Group in Hohenfels. Because they
usually wear all-black battle dress uniforms, the battalion has been
dubbed "the Men in Black," but depending on the type of rotation, they
might don the traditional dress of Iraq, for example. Swathed in robes,
they add a realistic aura by hiding in caves or sauntering along the
streets of their fabricated villages

I'm not sure Fanta,because my current years have been served with some
lame ass N.G.unit in Mass on a Howitzer crew.My DD214's are currently
being looked over and I'm seriosly considering returning.But it will be
served back in the 101st that's for sure.Certainly not some N.G. unit.I
miss that unit and my brothers fanta.I've never had real friends like
that in the Civ.world that's for damn sure.

Amen!fanta.Hey what's up with the dude with the screen name soldier.I
wrote to him telling him I am one of his brothers and how much I
appreciate his efforts over there in Iraq.He never even said anything
back to me.I think that's just plain wrong.Or I am am I just to damn
sensitive for my own good.
