Finding Expression

What shall I say,
They're never felt right.
Keeping me up,
Tossing and turning all night.
Expressed are the feelings
Felt deep within,
Mixed with the reelings,
Emotions begin.
Her heart has invaded,
Her love felt so deep,
Words are so wished for,
Yet, found none I can keep.
My mind races inward,
Asking help from my heart,
Nothing replied as silence fell dark.
Lost in confusion and worry within
To find the true words
I wish to speak in.
Then from the darkness,
A voice heard so low,
Barely a whisper
That silently grows.
Tell her you love her
And hold her so dear
Promise you'll stay
And fight back her fear.
Tell her your heart speaks only in truth,
Give her the time she requires for proof.
Show her you're friends
With love at your core
And never you'll part
For you she'll adore.
