here living in memphis one piece of advise Graceland is in an are of town called whitehaven...ironically it is an all black ghetto a ton of crime and a freakin mess... so i advise park in one of gracelands parking lots, get to graceland and get the hell out of whitehaven, the heartbreak hotel is nice but it is a sketchy place...

your welcome don't get me wrong if your an elvis fan it is a must, but me not liking him i don't go anymore i used to hang out in whitehaven...(granted that was in a locked cideo store, in the back section wich was locked in the managers office wich was locked

I've been to graceland a few times. Not really what it's cracked up to be, for me anyhow and I'm one of the biggest Elvis fans of all time. I loved beale street and sun studios alot better.

I was director of security at Graceland after I retired from the Memphis,PD.Everyone shold see Graceland once but onceis enough.My office was in the annex by the jungle room.viking57 is right about the neighborhood.It's pretty bad.Enjoy the visit.

I been to graceland too. Like he said, once is enough. I liked the mud museum and that bridge over the mississippi is really pretty at night. If you go during the day it should be okay, its the only time its open anyway! Pay the extra for a nice hotel with a view of the bridge over the water at night.
