pretty much z as long as you know were the notes are depending on how it
is tuned like a guitar is tuned in fifths in standard tuning bass
guitars are also tuned in fifths same with twelve strings except the
have a doubled octave for each tone :D

then just play by ear from there.. my daughter is WAY better'n me on
playin by ear though.. WOW.. she blows me away the way she plays
electric guitar.. I prefer the classic guitar myself.. I LOVE the sound
of the accoustic's... soo soothing no MATTER the song... besides.. ya

yeah it isnt just string instraments theory spans almost all instraments
well at least in twelve tone theory lol.some instraments arent capable
of playing chords cause they are monophonic and can only voice songle
notes ata time like horns.were as your pianos and guitar are polyphinic
and capable of voicing multiple notes simultaniously :D

only has accoustic...

you could play electric if you wanted z ill give you a lil hint about it
tho you dont have to strike the strings with the same amount of force
because most pickups on them are very sensitive and pick up alot of
string noise:D

I'm tryin to get her into the older music.. to vary her experience.. but
she's a firm Rock Alternative fan.. 3 days grace, Green day, good
charlotte, AFI.. etc.. but there's SOO many GOOD guitar solos in the
OLDer stuff that I'm SURE she'd have fun with but.. teenagers LOL.. they
know EVERYthing LOL
