happy Tuesday to y'all..

current temps are 70F (feels like 73F) with a high of 77F (more like 90F) and peeks of sun, then a low risk of an isolated thunderstorm early afternoon and moderate rain after 4pm. Very windy.

I'm like the 'very windy' part.. at least it keeps things cool-ish lol

anywho.. gots stuff ta do so.. hope everyone has a good day

oh wow.. that's hot TG.. definitely.. please stay cool..

anywho.. day's almost over.. got lots done again today and well.. weather has been pretty decent..

hope everyone enjoyed their day and is enjoying the evening

it's so quiet in here.. you can hear a pin drop and crickets chirp.. wow

current temps are: mainly sunny and a cool 68F

well I got LOTS done today.. YAY.. love this coolish weather.. awesome breeze (windy actually) which made the clothes dry super fast.. and.. I was sanding down my dining table and loved that the wind just took the dust right out..

anywho.. been a long one.. busy tomorrow too so.. hope everyone had a good day and is enjoying the evening

sorry ta hear about your heat TG.. we're currently at 63F (feels like 63F too) YIPEE.. we be chillin.. finally.. seems like it'll be like this for the rest of the month.. WOOOHOOO lovin' it

watched Fackham Hall 2025 with Damian Lewis, Hayley Mills & Tom Felton

It's a period satirical comedy film set in 1930s England. A new servant embarks on an unlikely relationship with the youngest daughter of a prominent English family. Simultaneously, rivalries are spilling over in the Davenport family, led by the Lord and Lady as they also weather the epic failure of the wedding of their eldest daughter to her caddish cousin.

Almost reminiscent of a Monty Python film, but not as weird. Good for a laugh tho...

it seems it's only the US news outlets that are blaming Canada for all the smoke..

oddly enough, I'm in canada and I'm not seeing any problems NOR are there any reports or alerts been posted yet in my area..

USA today news.. july 16, 2026 (today) "A new heat wave will bring another round of scorching temperatures as several fires in the West continue to grow in what’s already been a deadly fire season. The Babylon fire burning in Utah now covers 100,000 acres and the Aspen Acres fire in Colorado is nearing that size."

so don't be blaming Canada for all your smoke issues..

thankfully Toronto is far enough away that breathing is not an issue for me..

that rain overnight really switched things up for us out this way.. currently 70F (75F with the humidex) YAY.. and the wind is 8-12 mph so NICE.. chance of rain later today but other than that an absolute awesome day..
