What a CUTIE !!! 
they really are.. and kind of nutso too, in a funny way.. my eldest wanted a pug but I feel this would be a better fit for her and her personality.. but MAN are they pricey.. cheapest I found was like $2600  locally... I love my kids.. just not THAT much

... With longevity hopefully comes wisdom ... Unfortunately, age does not bring wisdom. It may do so, but it's unlikely. Basically, if you're a fool at 15, you'll still be a fool at 85 or 95 or whatever. perhaps for some, but not for all! however that's my opinion.. as to wanting to live forever? I really liked my 40's.. I was happy with who I was, so if I could be that, in great health and shape.. why not |

Has online dating run it's course, or do people still have big expectations? I personally believe it has, most, in my experience are just wanting someone to chat with instead of going into the real world, each to their own I guess   🕺
I think it's 50/50 really.. I'd prefer real world connections but it's hard to achieve when you live in the boonies, so.. jumped back in the pond to see if there's any bites (fishing reference )
so far I've had 111 like me in 3 days.. mostly scammers I'd wager smelling new blood

I think it has more to do with people not being handy with making photos or simply not bothered to put much effort and time into it. I don't think it has anything much to do with showing off their phone. It'd take someone who's really into mobiles to be able to tell what kind of phone it is. Many men don't even have a recent photo but one from the time they were still happy with their ex. They crop the ex off and that becomes their profile photo. To them the photo in front of the mirror is probably already an effort. That is one feature I use on the stupid cell.. the camera! my actual camera died last year and well.. it is convenient for that.. when I remember to carry it with me LOL.. but I DO know how to reverse the shot to not take a pic of my reflection
however you're probably right about some people being technologically challenged |

I do not get the phones as a show off thing either, to me it is just an electric leash. People think it is weird that I have texting blocked on my phone, but I think it is weird to not use a phone as a phone...lol But I guess it is comparable to guys who need to have a Rolex watch instead of a Timex...lol I totally agree with being a leash.. my gawd.. there's a world happening in real life all around them and their eyes are glued to this mobile screen.. weird facination in my books.. like it's not real unless it comes thru a tiny screen..
the only ones I allow texts are from my kids.. mind you, I call them back instead cuz I'd rather have a conversation than type.. WAIT! aren't we texting HERE and NOW?  at least I have a full keyboard rather than some tiny thing that auto corrects everything I want to say
