FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE:

1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

3. Colt: The original point and click interface.

4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.

5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?

6. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.

7 "Free" men do not ask permission to bear arms.

8. If you don't know your rights you don't have any.

9. Those who trade liberty for security have neither.

10. The United States Constitution (c) 1791. All Rights Reserved.

11. What part of "shall not be infringed" do you NOT understand?

12. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

13. 64,999,987 firearm owners killed no one yesterday.

14. Guns only have two enemies: rust and politicians.

15. Know guns, know peace, know safety. - No guns, no peace, no safety.

16. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

17. 911 - government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.

18. Assault is a behavior, not a device.

19. Criminals love gun control -- it makes their job safer.

20. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.

21. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

22. You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.

23. Enforce the "gun control laws" we ALREADY have, don't make more.

24. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

25. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

26. "A government of the people, by the people, for the people..."

Addendum to Fire Arms Refresher Course

Restrictive gun laws were first tried in the late 1800's, not in Europe, but in violence prone states here in America. The laws failed and violence rates continued to rise. Those laws were repealed after World War I.

Stricter gun laws will not prevent senseless killings, or even sensible ones. All they will do is make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to obtain firearms and infringe on their Second Amendment rights.

There is a myth that most murders are committed by ordinary, law-abiding citizens who kill a relative or acquaintance in a moment of anger only because a gun is available. The real truth is that the overwhelming majority of murders are committed by career criminals, people with lifelong histories of violence. Even those people who accidently kill others with guns tend to have felony records and histories of substance abuse.

Studies consistently show that on the average, gun owners are better educated and hold more prestigious jobs than non-owners. Of course, criminals are not included in the afore-mentioned statement. Early studies that labeled gun owners violence prone turned out to be based on questions that addressed only willingness to come to the aid of crime victims. In other words, good citizenship was confused with violence.

There are only about 100,000 police officers on patrol at any one given time. That is 100,000 police officers patrolling our streets to protect approximately 300 million people. Unless you get attacked where a policeman is on patrol, the chances of a police officer being near enough to you to assist are practically nil.

This is a violent country. Until something is done about the conditions that cause our country to be violent, it almost makes sense to own a gun for protection than not to. In any case, every American has the right, thanks to our Founding Fathers, to make that decision for themselves.

Gun control, like socialism, has failed everywhere it has been tried.

God, Guns, and Guts made America Free.
At any cost, keep all Three.

speaking of bullets, this plane was rare, it had 4X 20MM. most had six ma duece .50cal. jap chunkers.
do you know that you can legally own a ma duece .50 ? ( in semi automatic, or non squirt gun) it comes with a document from the ATF that says something like:
#1 believe it or not this is actually legal to own, and
#2 please dont convert to fully auto if you can stand it.

YUP. THE BENT WING BIRD, OR,as the nippineese called them, whistling death. they make an air noise that is spooky. the prop was the largest available, as was the engine. they had to kink the wings so the prop wouldent hit the ground.

I personally do not like guns, but I do agree that the 2nd amendment should not be messed with. Guns do not kill people, people kill people. If they took guns away, they'd find a different way to kill someone.

i only dont like them when thier pointed at me. lol. im bench rest shooter, bring your math book on those long shots. e.g., on my big match rifle, it takes the bullet.8 seconds to travel 1000 yds....... how much wind drift at 600 meters with a 14 mph crosswind from 80 degrees left? it gets pretty complex if you let it.
