I remember when our thoughts,
Were along on the same lines,
It seems our paths are lost,
We must have missed the signs.

We were on the same wave,
Hearts across the big sea,
Until my silence, you gave,
Why, never answered the plea.

Forever friendship is what you said,
As promises went hand in hand,
After years in close communication,
My silence you cannot understand.

Those shared thoughts I remember,
Since my memories seldom fail,
Continually my heart cries to yours,
While you ask me to check my mail.
