He is really big - my guy will only get to about 40-50 pounds - he is a hunting dog (although I do not hunt) and will be a pointer. He is the field variety of English Setter He is a Rottweiler, husky, lab mix.... what a mess!!! but he's adorable |

Thanks hiker - loosing a pet is tough. The last dog that I had - I had him for 13 years.

I have lost dogs..cats...I never thought I could get attached to a goat ..I cried and cried.
We still have her babies, though. My daughter promised her we wouldn't sell them. I suppose you have to be really weird to keep promises that you make to a dying goat. |

They don't judge. They dont' care when you gain weight. They don't care how much money you make; or if you behaved badly. They love you no matter what. We could learn something from them |

His name was Aspen and I got him in Colorado many years ago when I came out for a trip - took him all the way back to IL. |

I live close to Rocky Mountain National Park - there are some terrific hiking trails there. Not right now though - too much snow!
