My 9 year old will be 10 in 2 weeks, so the other day she cleaned her room, and brought out 2 bags filled with her Bratz sh**, and said we can give them to her younger cousin now, she is too old for them. She gave her all of it, dolls, babies, convertible bug, soda shop, she had all that sh**, and I am glad she got rid of it. However all I hear now is Jonas Brothers, so am I getting ahead on anything?, I think not.... Now she is wanting more expensive sh**...

6th and 7th graders at my child's school are talking about
Jonas Brothers. 4th and 5th graders are all about Hannah Montana and High School Musical.

4th and 5th graders at the school are still buying the Bratz dolls.

They appear to influence girls to be superficial idiots.

What do you think Barbie dolls do?

What the hell are you talking about? Bratz are soo sleazy!! They not only have DSL lips, they dress like big hoe bags!! At least Barbies have professions! Lawyer barbie, doctor, teacher, vet, etc... Barbies come with accessories like, an extra thermometer, or breif case, Bratz come with an extra F*cking thong!!!

Didn't they make a Bratz movie a while back? With Jon Voight playing a dimwitted High School Principal? I thought I saw some commercials for that some time ago. huh

I was once in a KB toy store, and I saw this man and his little girl, the little girl said, "Daddy, I want Bratz!" and before I could even think anything, her dad says, "NO! Those dolls are not for kids! And you cant have 'My Scene' either!" She started to cry, but at that moment I acctually had hope for man-kind. I wanted to shake his hand!

No, I am not ready for kids yet. I do plan on it, but I do have a little sister, neices, and cousins. I am very protective of them.

Just goes to show you that not all are alike, huh??? She is so over HMontana and HSM, so if she wants to be into the Jonas Brothers, so be it... They seem like respectable, young, talented, good role models for all children to look up too, no matter what the age!!! She is in 4th grade too, and at church in her Sunday school class, the girls are talking about the Jonas Brothers, not HMontana. Like I stated, not all are alike, especially this day and age, too many options.

A friend of mine took her girls to the Jonas Brothers concert.
She said it was great. Yes, the Jonas Brothers, HSM and Hannah are good role models so far.

I agree, those dolls are just plain creepy - and no better than Barbie. Worse, if you ask me.

Most of the girls I know dont like them either.
