These pain killers are great. They almost make getting a dislocated shoulder worth it. They make me have wierd dreams and I kind of hang around in a daze, but other than that.....

That's how I felt with the meds after I broke my ankle. Didn't do a think for the pain at all. But by the third dose of the day, they made me loopy and I didn't care anymore. They tried switching to something else. It didn't make me loopy. But it still didn't help the pain at all. Ultimately, those opiate-based pain killers don't work for me.
All I wanted was for something to work on the pain. |

Unfortunately, probably yes on both counts. I get an MRI tomorrow and see the doc on Monday. I might have to talk to him about all of that.
I don't want to feel the pain of this shoulder, though. Didn't take none before bed last night and woke up at about 3 a.m. feeling rough & had to take a couple to get back to sleep. Thank God for this stuff, though. Makes you wonder what people did before all this was invented. |
