One cool winter's night I baked up a pie
Hied me hither to a hidden venue,where
My own offering was put on display
With thirty others..yes,no lie!
And the smell,Oh the smell in the air!
Pie-full conversation was buzzing that day
I sat next to a confused man,Sam
and chattered o'er differences and aromas.

The waiting was short,the drooling effervescent
Some gooseberry creation was calling me..swoon!
Once the voting began we attacked our sweet altar
And stabbed with our steely knives into crescents
Someone suggested that we dip with a spoon
I ate and ate and ate until I needed a halter
Over the moaning I noticed the others
Were as gluttonous as I!Oh Pie Sisters!Oh Pie Brothers!

Eventually Cybear brought him back to Earth
With a pie-eating contest(peanut butter cream!)
Three stout lads and one confused soul
They took off like a shot,amid no dearth
Of laughter;the lads gobbled,they gobbled all three
Yet that slim little lady comes as close as a wink
To beating them all,it was only her laughing
That kept her from beating the boys at their quaffing.

Those tarts were all gone to that picnic in the sky
We went home,leftovers dragging,laughs on our mind
Guts distended with happy sweet fruity creations
New friends,you can count them from all different nations
What would the world be,Friend without any Pie?
