I'm a single, 55 year old man, looking for the queen of my kingdom. Never been married, yet I'm almost certain our hearts have been through the same meat grinder. After all, thats why we meet here. So lets just make hamburger and try to move on. I am by nature a mellow soul, having left most of my wild days behind me. I still enjoy an interesting adventure, though, through road trips and exploring interesting destinations. Disneyland is a particular interest of mine. Speaking of which, I am a man of many passions. I am passionate about freedom, ice cream, firearms rights and true love just to name the first four that popped into my head. Although I have no children, they seem to enjoy being around me. It probably has something to do with my sometimes weird outlook on life. I can't think of any examples at the moment, we’ll just have to let it come up in conversation I guess. Which brings me to describe the soul of my being, the core of my personality. I am unwavering in my quest to live life honestly and with integrity. I feel strongly about personal responsibility. I speak to my creator daily, usually to give thanks or to plead for wisdom. (Of which I am often sorely lacking!) If things like this brand me a of a conservative nature then so be it. I don't believe so much in labels as in principles I can believe in. I always seek to find common ground with those of you who, at first glance, seem like my political opposite. We may have more common ground than you think! I try to keep an open mind in all things. While not always successful, it helps me understand those who are different than me. I like a healthy debate. If you know the difference between a debate and an argument then we've reached a good meeting point. At one time, I was a bad boy, and now, trying to be a good man. 20 or so years ago, I did drugs and drank in excess, among other things, but not anymore. I am non-violent, but will not avoid confrontation to protect the ones I love. I live in my own home, alone with 1 dog. Yes, I have a job, all my own teeth, and I bathe frequently. I don't carry any harmful diseases. The greatest challenge in my life is losing weight. I need to lose 50 lbs to be a chubby guy and feel better about myself. Obviously, its easier to relate to someone in the same boat as me. If you are thinner, I will beg your patience, a lot larger, and there may not be mutual attraction. I know that knife cuts both ways. The same with age. Much older or younger, we have less in common. An open mind makes all things possible, or at least probable. I won't pressure you into intimacy. I won’t ask you for money. Will fix things for hugs. I'm pretty good at a few things. I used to be good at fixing cars, but a little rusty, and handy around the house. I was once told my back rubs are phenomenal. Can’t say for sure. I tried rubbing my own back and it wasn't so great. And I'll make you laugh, but it won't be that simple. My humor sometimes takes some thought. No "lol" here. I'll pay for dinner and not expect a payoff. Let me open the door for you. There's no need to abandon all chivalry in our modern world.
